Our Beginning

St. Monica Catholic Women Group was established on 11th April 2025 by the Sisters of Mary of Kakamega (SMK) with the desire to create a platform where women can grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and economically.

The group was formed to respond to the need for meaningful accompaniment of women through prayer, formation, skills development, counseling, and mutual support.

Recognizing the important role women play in families, the Church, and society, the association seeks to empower women to discover their God-given talents and use them for the service of others.

Through prayer, fellowship, learning, and collaboration, St. Monica Catholic Women Group continues to build a community where women experience encouragement, transformation, and hope.
